Get on the TW listserv!!

Posted July 23, 2010 by Tina

Hey! If you aren't getting emails from TerpWushu, get on the listserv! Just send me the email address you want to receive TW emails at and I'll send you an invite to our listserv! You can find my email address in the "Contact Us" tab of this website. :D

Jackets have arrived!

Posted July 20, 2010 by Tina

If you haven't seen the email we sent out on the TW listserv, our UA jackets have arrived. We'll be bringing them to practice this Thursday. If you can't make it next practice, please give me a heads-up before you come to a later practice pick up your jacket. I won't be lugging around 30 jackets to every single practice so email me or give me a call (and we're not keeping the jackets in the closet for safety and money reasons). However, if you owe TerpWushu money for either the jacket or for last year's UWG, we'll be holding your jacket hostage until you pay us :].

No practice Monday, July 5th

We're ALIVEEE! Roar.

We're back from the dead! Zombie-power!

The website is finally back under current cabinet access which a good sign for the beginning of my evil regime :]. I've fixed a few things (like admin access) and updated contact info and practice times. If you spot any bugs or old information, just shoot me or Allen an email/IM and we'll take care of it.

We're hoping to update the website more regularly with important information and make it more useful to you so we're open to suggestions!

And if you didn't know, summer practices have started (it's been a couple of weeks or so now) and times/locations can be seen on the upper right of the page as well as under "Information." FYI, SPH was formerly known as HHP.

Special thanks to Mikey for passing on access info! I'm so giddy off of website editing right now.

World of Wushu?

Posted September 24, 2007 by ???

In an effort to recruit more computer science, engineering, multi-talented computer-engineering, and other such majors that can boast of an even greater male:female ratio than our club, we will be demoing outside the PG2 computer lab on nights before major projects are known to be due. World of Warcraft developed by Blizzard Entertainment will be the theme in our campaign to hook this target audience. Our forms will be composed of WoW moves that directly resemble wushu. Simultaneously, a background projector will display Fraps-encoded video clips of actual WoW characters using these moves to pwn their foes.

Terpwushu wins the SGA "Best Sports Club" Award

Posted April 26, 2006 by ???

The student groups branch of the SGA gave Terpwushu the "Best Sports Club" award for 2006. The review board was impressed with the club's many achievements over the past year, especially for hosting the 1st Annual East Coast Intercollegiate Tournament, competing in the 10th Annual Intercollegiate Tournament at University of Oregon, and for the many demo's put on for various shows. Congratulations, everyone!
